Data Stored on Your Device

Your conversations, memories, and generated media are stored locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to or backed up on Yusa’s servers. However, when you interact with Yusa, portions of your data are sent to third-party providers for AI processing, as described below.

Data Sent for Processing

When you interact with Yusa, the following data may be included in requests sent for AI processing:

• Your recent messages
• Conversation context such as memories and past interaction summaries
• Your name, if provided
• Your active window title (see Screen Awareness below)

These requests pass through our cloud API, which is stateless—it does not store any data and discards everything immediately after returning a response to your device. Payments are handled entirely by our payment processor; your payment details are never sent to or stored by Yusa.

Authentication Data

When you create an account, your email address and hashed password are stored by our authentication provider. An age verification flag is recorded to confirm you meet the minimum age requirement. We do not store your date of birth.

Screen Awareness

Yusa reads the title of your active window to provide contextual conversation. Window titles are captured locally and may be included in requests sent for AI processing. No screenshots or screen content are captured.

Cookies & Analytics

Yusa uses cookies for authentication sessions. Our website uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views and visit duration. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. We do not use advertising trackers.

What We Don’t Track

Your conversations, generated images, and locally stored memories are never logged, collected, or transmitted for analytics purposes. The cloud API processes your requests and discards them immediately. Analytics applies only to the website, not the desktop app.

Data Deletion

You can delete all local data at any time using the full reset option in the app. To delete your account and associated authentication data, contact support@yusa.ai.

Age Requirement

Yusa is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed by third-party providers located outside your country. By using Yusa, you consent to this transfer of data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of Yusa after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
